Nate Burleson is a former NFL wide receiver turned TV analyst who has made a name for himself both on and off the field. Born on August 19, 1981, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Burleson grew up in Seattle, Washington, where he attended O’Dea High School.At O’Dea, Burleson was a standout athlete and excelled in both football and basketball. He was named the METRO 3A MVP in football and led his team to the state championship game. In basketball, he was an all-conference player and helped his team reach the state tournament.

After leaving Seattle, Burleson signed with the Detroit Lions, where he played for three seasons. Injuries limited his production during his time in Detroit, but he still managed to contribute when healthy. He retired from the NFL in 2014 with 457 receptions, 5,630 receiving yards, and 39 touchdowns.Following his playing career, Burleson transitioned to a career in broadcasting. He started as an analyst for the NFL Network and also worked as a co-host on CBS’ morning show “The NFL Today”. In 2021, he joined “Good Morning Football”, a daily morning show on the NFL Network, as a co-host.
Burleson’s charisma and knowledge of the game have made him a popular figure in the media.
